Cats know things - but we don't always listen... The cat collar represents a ring of protection surrounding a man observed at his desk, unaware of the things reaching for him from the shadows beyond. In the short story by author Sean Walter, for which this illustration was created, a black cat tries to warn the unwary of the dangers in the darkness. Copies of the anthology Tales in Sombre Tones are also available in my shop.
Archive quality, full size fine art print of my charcoal pencil drawing, printed on a beautiful smooth paper that mirrors the qualities of that used for the original artwork.
Please note - to be able to offer this discount, prints are being ordered at the end of the month when the sale ends, and will be shipped mid May. This is the last time I will be printing full size versions of these images as I am making room in the studio for new work.
The final image shows Catmonkey in a frame as an example, accompanied by the original figurine. Don't worry, I won't be sending anyone actual catmonkeys...
Image area size 12" wide by 18" high, also available framed in a smart black frame made using recycled materials and with acrylic safety glazing. Frame size 16" x 22".
