An archive quality print of my hand drawn charcoal pencil artwork 'To Spite the Living', originally created as an illustration for gothic horror anthology Tales in Sombre Tones, also available as a trade paperback in my shop.
The graveyard ghost was inspired by a statue in one of London's great cemeteries, she is accompanied in the story by a dragon spirit, which I described in the picture by adding a sheer set of whisper faint wings. The snowy churchyard is actually St Mary's in Whitby, near the abbey ruins.
