Hanging Tree Halloween Print

A spooky art print of a drawing of a hanging tree wreathed in ropes with a skull embedded in its bark, dead branches reaching to the sky. Iconic year round, this print works especially well for those wanting a classic horror hallowe'en inspired gallery wall with an original twist.

An archive quality print of my hand drawn charcoal pencil artwork 'Timber', originally created as an illustration for gothic horror anthology Tales in Sombre Tones with author Sean Walter, also available in paperback in my shop. 

Featuring a hanging tree that decided not to wait for victims to be brought to it, having found a way of sourcing its own... Created from reference photos I took of trees in ancient woodland near Sandsend, one a tall fir that appeared for all the world to have turned to look behind it, and a very old oak with branches plenty sturdy enough for a noose. The strangling ropes were inspired by the cradle of ivy stems on the trunk.

Printed on archive quality paper with a very slight texture to recreate the fine art paper of the original.

Small option : Print size A5 with a white A4 mount, in a modern black frame - just nicely book page size! Medium option : Print size A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) with a white A3 (42cm x 29.7cm) mount, in a modern black frame.

Framed in eco friendly mdf, made from recycled waste wood, with acrylic glazing so it is safe to ship, and has hanging fixtures fitted.
