Lanyon Quoit Cornwall Limited Edition Hand Signed Print

Lanyon Quoit in Cornwall reflected in a droplet on fern. The droplet is captured within the frame of the ancient dolmen, the angles of stone, frond and ground creating a beautifully balanced composition. I was drawn to the fragility of the droplet against the shadowy megalith - which also, to my amusement, does rather appear to be wandering off like some great horse.
 
Created as part of Reflections 2 'Light in the Darkness', a project studying landscapes reflected in droplets of water.  25 drawings were done in total, the originals are sold out along with most of the mini prints.
 
Printed on eco friendly paper, hand signed and numbered. The prints come bagged with a crisp white mount and backing board,  6" square (148mm). The original charcoal pencil drawing was done in charcoal pencil on bright white Bristol board. I also include a signed certificate detailing the work, sample shown in the photos.
