I chose this butterfly for the delicate tracery of lines on its wings, which made me think of stained glass. Such a precise, bold pattern on such a fragile creature is endlessly fascinating to me. Originally hand drawn in charcoal pencil, it has been faithfully reproduced by a small independent printer as a limited run of 50, all hand signed and numbered. Each print comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
