Deer Skull Original Charcoal Pencil Drawing

Original charcoal pencil drawing of a deer skull - yes really, that's a deer :)  I photographed the skull, reflected in a black mirror, inside a home made dark box to get this dramatic image. I then worked on crisp white Fabriano Artistico paper, using charcoal pencil for the detail and gorgeous velvety carbon for the broader areas to create the artwork.

Dimensions are ; approx 16" x 16" frame size. Drawn area 12" x 12".

Comes in a satinwood frame with off white mount and high quality acrylic glazing so it is safe to ship. Additional images show the work in progress and my signature.
