A charming young crow perched on a signpost on the North Yorkshire coast. Juvenile crows have softer feathers, slightly lighter than the deep black of the adults and without the oily sheen. Consequently the sea breeze was blowing his fluff all over the place.
The drawing itself is a4 size (roughly 12" x 9") and comes framed in a black wooden frame with white mount and acrylic glazing so it is safe to ship. Frame size 16 x 12"
Drawn from an original photograph taken by me as part of a wider project studying local corvid species.
