Original charcoal pencil drawing of Whitby abbey as seen from the picturesque churchyard of St Mary's. I took some photographs in the winter of 2018 when we had some rare (for the coast) snow - I was particularly struck by the one that inspired this, which showed the wind blowing the snow from the churchyard wall. That gave the abbey an especially ethereal appearance even by its usual gothic standards.
 
Framed in oak with acrylic glazing so it is safe to ship. Drawn area approx 6" square, frame size approx 9" square (external measurements).
